We are seeking a Senior Engineer with strong expertise in energy generation, storage, and conversion technologies to join a global engineering and consultancy firm delivering cutting‑edge energy solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on high‑impact projects across renewables, bioenergy, hydrogen, and conventional power systems, helping shape the future of energy and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver projects across energy conversion, power generation, energy storage, waste‑to‑energy, and hybrid energy systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies, performance modelling, and technical due diligence for utility‑scale and industrial clients.
- Provide technical leadership on major project deliverables, mentor junior engineers, and interface with senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams, including process, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering.
- Support business development, proposal preparation, and technical strategy.
Key Requirements
- 8+ years’ experience in energy generation, conversion, or process engineering projects (e.g., power plants, renewables, WtE, CHP, hydrogen, biofuels).
- Strong foundation in thermodynamics, energy systems modelling, and process engineering.
- Experience with power plant performance analysis and simulation tools (e.g., Aspen Plus, EBSILON, Thermoflex).
- Knowledge of energy conversion cycles (Rankine, Brayton, combined cycle, ORC, etc.).
- Track record of project leadership, multi‑disciplinary coordination, and client engagement.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status, or working towards (IMechE, IChemE, or similar).
- Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, or Energy Engineering (or related discipline).
