Be part of an exciting global digital transformation project in manufacturing and automation! Our Client has a requirement for a Project Manager, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Glasgow.

Role Purpose: Support digital supply chain initiatives and operational technology infrastructure improvements. Deliver capital project engineering support across manufacturing sites.

Job Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop requirement specifications in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Deliver capex projects to the correct technical specification.
  • Prepare cost estimates and project schedules.
  • Manage efficient capex spend and external resources.
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, including approvals, financial tracking, and closure.
  • Manage and oversee commissioning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Engage stakeholders effectively, communicating plans, timelines, issues, and solutions.

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

  • Proven delivery of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and IT/OT integration.
  • Knowledge of packaging machinery, line management, and control systems.
  • Server hardware, virtualisation, and industrial networking project delivery.
  • Manufacturing cybersecurity risk management experience.
  • Ability to review solution designs using logical and physical diagrams.
  • Degree in a science/engineering discipline.
  • Recognised project management certification.
