Be part of an exciting global digital transformation project in manufacturing and automation! Our Client has a requirement for a Project Manager, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Glasgow.
Role Purpose: Support digital supply chain initiatives and operational technology infrastructure improvements. Deliver capital project engineering support across manufacturing sites.
Job Role Responsibilities:
- Develop requirement specifications in collaboration with internal teams.
- Deliver capex projects to the correct technical specification.
- Prepare cost estimates and project schedules.
- Manage efficient capex spend and external resources.
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, including approvals, financial tracking, and closure.
- Manage and oversee commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Engage stakeholders effectively, communicating plans, timelines, issues, and solutions.
Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:
- Proven delivery of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and IT/OT integration.
- Knowledge of packaging machinery, line management, and control systems.
- Server hardware, virtualisation, and industrial networking project delivery.
- Manufacturing cybersecurity risk management experience.
- Ability to review solution designs using logical and physical diagrams.
- Degree in a science/engineering discipline.
- Recognised project management certification.
