On behalf of a well established consultancy in York, we are seeking a Civil / Structural Engineer to join on a staff basis. The role will be working on fast paced and complex rail civil design projects across the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently develop designs for lineside civils such as walkways, UTXs, troughing routes, location case bases, platform works, OLE foundations, and minor structures.
  • Collaborate with the team on fast paced and complex projects.
  • Work to Network Rail, Railway Group Standards, CDM regulations, and project‑specific standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
  • Multiple seniorities available - minimum 2 years experience.
  • Main experience in Rail civils examples being stations, depots, access structures, tunnel remedial schemes, structure remedial schemes, earthworks, drainage, lineside Civils.
  • Must hold right to work in the UK as no VISA will be offered.
