Role: Sales & Marketing Analyst- RetfordSalary: £28k- £32k DOEHours: Monday- Friday 9am-5pm
Position Overview:The Marketing Analyst is responsible for managing, analysing, and reporting sales and marketing data to support the Sales & Customer Services team. The role ensures the accuracy and integrity of management information, the effective use of CRM systems (including GP and Salesforce), and the delivery of insights to improve sales performance, customer satisfaction, and marketing effectiveness. The role will also provide operational support to the Customer Service team as required.
Responsibilities: Sales SupportMonitor sales performance, pipeline activity, and revenue trendsTrack Budget/Forecast targets, achievementsSupport sales teams by maintaining accurate CRM records in SalesforceAnalyse sales data through reporting to identify performance gaps
MarketingSupport web-site management and developmentSupport with management of social media channels, such as LinkedIn
Management Information: Collect, validate, and maintain sales and customer service dataProduce daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for managementDevelop and maintain performance reports within Salesforce (EDGE) to ensure up to date and is in line with GP CRM dataEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with reporting standardsSupport forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning
Skills and Qualifications: Strong analytical and reporting skillsProficiency in MS Excel; Power BI experience is an advantageHands-on experience with Salesforce CRM (reports, dashboards, data management) would be beneficial but not essentialGood understanding of sales, customer service, and marketing processesExcellent attention to detail and data accuracyStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsRelevant experience - analytics, category, marketing, supply chain, or related business field
ExperienceProven experience in a management information, reporting, sales support, customer service, or analytical roleExperience working with CRM systems (such as GP and/or Salesforce) would be beneficialStrong experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reportingExperience producing regular MIS reports and performance dashboards
