About your role
As an HR Business Partner at Swap, you will act as a strategic partner to business leaders and teams across the organisation. You will ensure that our people strategy aligns with our business goals, foster a high-impact and inclusive culture, and provide expert HR support across the employee lifecycle. This role requires experience supporting a growing, international workforce across the UK and the Netherlands.
Strategic Partnership
Partner with senior leadership to understand business goals and translate them into impactful people initiatives Coach and support managers on performance, development, organisational change, and employee relations
Talent & Capability
Support end-to-end hiring across your business areas, from role design through to onboarding
Performance & Organisation
Drive performance management processes and support organisational design and workforce planning
Culture, Engagement & ER
Lead on engagement and retention initiatives aligned to company values Manage employee relations matters and act as a trusted escalation point
Data & Change
Use HR data and insights to inform decisions and improve outcomes Support organisational change as we scale across teams and geographies
What we are looking for
- 4 - 7 years’ experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge senior leaders
- Experience working across the full employee lifecycle in a high-growth SaaS or tech environment
- Solid knowledge of UK employment law, with exposure to Dutch employment practices
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, scaling environments, bringing structure and clarity where needed
- Hands‑on and adaptable, able to balance strategic thinking with day‑to‑day execution
- Experience in performance management, organisational design, and change initiatives
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to turn insights into action
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, relationship-led approach
- Exposure to international teams (EMEA, US, APAC) is a plus
- CIPD Level 5/7 (or equivalent) preferred
