Talanos Cybersecurity is a values led Managed Security Service Provider trusted by organisations to help defend against modern cyber threats. Our core offering is Managed Detection and Response, delivered through our in‑house Security Operations Centre operating 24/7 across the UK, South Africa and India. Alongside our SOC capability, we support clients with a broader suite of cybersecurity services including Identity & Access Management (IAM), Third‑Party Risk Management (TPRM), Cloud Security Assessments, Vulnerability Management and Automated Pentesting.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking to hire a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our sales team and help accelerate our commercial pipeline.

  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify prospects, qualify outbound leads and book high‑quality meetings that convert into revenue.
  • Identify and engage potential clients through outbound outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn, events).
  • Oversee the sales process from first contact to close.
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions in the CRM.
  • Continuously refine outreach strategies based on data and feedback.

Requirements:

  • 4 years experience in an SDR, BDR or similar lead‑generation role, with at least 2 years experience with the same company (ideally in Cyber, B2B SaaS or B2B tech).
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is a plus.
