The Role
We’re looking for a hands on Trade Floor Support Engineer who thrives in a fast paced, high-pressure environment. You’ll be the frontline tech hero supporting business users across the trading floor delivering outstanding service, resolving issues fast, and keeping systems running smoothly when it matters most. This is an onsite, customer facing role where responsiveness, technical depth, and calm under pressure are essential.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver 1st to 3rd line support via phone, email, ServiceNow, and in person meeting SLAs and managing user expectations
- Provide trade floor and market data support, including Bloomberg and Reuters
- Onboard new joiners, handle desk moves (intraday & out of hours), and support ad hoc testing
- Support desktop, laptop, VDI, and mobile devices (iPhones/iPads)
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, O365, Windows 10, and broker applications
- Work closely with 3rd party vendors to drive issue resolution
- Participate in out-of-hours on-call and provide late cover up to 10:30pm when required
- Contribute to continuous improvement always looking for smarter, better ways of working
What You’ll Bring
Essential Experience- Proven Trade Floor Support experience
- Market data support (Bloomberg, Reuters) in a trading environment
- Strong Windows 10, O365, and desktop support knowledge
- AD, GPO, WMI, SCCM administration experience
- Desktop virtualisation: Citrix XenDesktop, VMware, Nutanix
- Broker applications experience (Brokertec, GFI, ICAP, etc.)
- Mobile device support (iPhone, iPad)
- ServiceNow ticketing experience (highly desirable)
- PowerShell scripting
- Exchange administration
- Strong familiarity with SCCM Console
