b Overview /b p In this Platform Engineer role, you will design, deploy, and support modern Python-based platforms and applications to help engineering teams deliver high-quality software efficiently and securely. You will collaborate with developers, architects, and delivery teams to set cloud, CI/CD, observability, and security standards across projects. You will balance hands-on engineering with influencing platform best practices and developer tooling. This role offers the chance to shape platform delivery at scale within a client-facing, consulting environment. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Design, build, and maintain scalable application platforms and deployment environments /li li Support and enhance Python-based web applications and services /li li Work with modern front-end technologies, including React and Vite /li li Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines, automation, and developer tooling /li li Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to improve system reliability and performance /li li Manage and optimise cloud infrastructure, containerised environments, and platform configurations /li li Ensure security and operational best practices are embedded throughout the software delivery lifecycle /li li Collaborate with engineering teams to develop reusable patterns, self-service capabilities, and common platform standards /li li Troubleshoot and resolve application, infrastructure, and deployment issues /li li Contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Strong commercial experience developing and supporting Python web applications /li li Good understanding of modern front-end development tooling, particularly React and Vite /li li Experience with Azure cloud services and cloud-native application deployment /li li Hands-on experience with Docker and containerised applications /li li Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines /li li Strong understanding of Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals /li li Knowledge of application security principles and secure software delivery practices /li li Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions /li li Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills /li li Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams /li /ul ul li problem-solving /li li independent work ethic /li li cross-functional collaboration /li li Python web applications /li li React /li li Vite /li /ul
