As part of its ambition to become a Top 3 contributor in the European ETF market, our client is continuously improving its ETF Market Making platform to better serve its clients. To this end, there is an investment in its London AMM ETF platform to bring it to the next level of Automated client RFQ Pricing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of state of the art electronic trading platform for ETF business
  • Global implementation with view on regional business specificities
  • Build expertise on the AMM ETF trading platform opening new opportunities for following projects on the long term
  • Deliver in production on EU/US and World/Emerging perimeters
  • Enhance day-to-day Board support tools for maintaining Edge universe of EU/US universes
  • Deliver in production remaining universe
  • Production robustness assessment and switch off
  • Analysis of the current workflow of the ETF Blotter: ETF Portal/Power connectivity, booking workflow, validation chain
  • Design and implementation of the Edge Board ETF Blotter
  • Parallel run of the Edge Board ETF Blotter in testing environment
  • Develop the ETF team capabilities, such as: Board production monitoring tools development
  • Support of existing applications and bug fixing of Board tasks and checks
  • Participate in the desk short development cycle for trading tools requirements

Qualifications:

  • Critical to have experience in Front Office Trading production projects management
  • Critical to have strong IT development background: Python development, SQL scripting, Client-Server architecture concepts, Linux/Windows commands (C++ knowledge would be a plus but is not required)
  • Essential to have a first class Masters Degree from a top university ideally in Computer Science/IT or alternatively scientific background
  • Essential to be a self-learner and have strong analytical skills
  • High motivation to learn in a huge and complex environment
  • French speaker required as interactions with the Paris team will happen on a daily basis
