Talan is an international consulting group in innovation and transformation through technology. For 20 years, Talan has advised companies and administrations, supporting them and implementing transformation and innovation projects internationally.

We are seeking an IT Quant consultant for the Global Markets Quantitative Research division of our client. This division is responsible for modelling, pricing and risk management for Global Markets products and provides innovative solutions globally.

The Histo team within GMQR works on a wide range of applications, including:

  • Booking systems
  • Real‐time price computation
  • Market data storage
  • High‐performance transfer
  • Algorithm design
  • User experience
  • Hardware selection
  • Network performance analysis

Our current need is for two IT Quant consultants: one junior (0‐3 years of experience) and one senior (7‐10 years of experience).

Key responsibilities:

  • Strengthen and enhance reliability of solutions dedicated to ETF market‐making activity
  • Build scalable systems for large‐scale data analysis and experimentation
  • Evaluate and implement third‐party tools and data sources
  • Ensure that risks and P&L are properly assessed and computed
  • Contribute to research discussions and improve methodologies
