About the Role:
TALA, known for activewear that keeps up with busy lifestyles, has been on a rocket ship since its founding in 2019 by entrepreneur Grace Beverley. Built on largely organic socials, today we are a digital-first, multichannel women’s athleisure brand with a multi-faceted growth and retention strategy, trading on impressive numbers. TALA recently opened a 2,000-square-foot, double-fronted Store on London’s iconic Carnaby Street as part of our ambitious growth strategy, backed by a recent funding round.
TALA is looking for a Wholesale Coordinator to join the Commercial team in central
London. As Wholesale Coordinator, your main responsibility will be to support the
wholesale team and key wholesale customers worldwide.
Tasks
KEY REPONSIBILITES
• Maintain accurate product and commercial information in the Zedonk system
prior to seasonal market, working cross-functionally with Buying &
Merchandising (B&M) and Finance to ensure all details (style codes, pricing,
HS/MID codes, imagery) are correct.
• Enter all new wholesale orders into the system, ensuring precision and
attention to detail in data input and confirming orders with partners.
• Manage customer onboarding including documentation, internal compliance,
and coordination with Finance for setup in all relevant systems.
• Oversee and coordinate the wholesale market calendar: scheduling
appointments, aligning diaries, and ensuring showroom readiness in
collaboration with the B&M team.
• Track purchase orders (POs) to ensure timely delivery scheduling, proactively
flagging any issues that may impact shipping windows or warehouse capacity.
• Liaise with Operations and Logistics to monitor delivery discrepancies,
coordinate compliance issue resolutions, and manage any stock returns
(RTVs).
• Collaborate with Finance to issue and track credit notes for delivery or
invoicing issues, and monitor outstanding invoices or payment delays with
partners.
• Support the commercial team with post-market analysis by collating weekly
sales reports and providing performance insights or sell-in opportunities to the
wider TALA Exec team.
• Manage sample and image requests for wholesale partners, ensuring assets
are shared in the correct formats and timelines to support partner e-comm
readiness.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of TALA product representation across
partner websites and stores, monitoring pricing, product copy, and
markdowns to reflect agreed terms.
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• Excellent written and verbal communication essential.
• Strong team working skills, able to build positive cross-functional
relationships.
• Have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role within fashion/
wholesale retail, specifically with a focus on wholesale, franchise, or
distribution chains.
• A strong commitment to customer service and maintaining excellent service
standards.
• Decision-making ability and a sense of responsibility.
• The ability to understand and analyze reports.
• Planning and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate business insights and support
forward planning.
Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced
environment.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
• Ability to work from the London office 3 days per week.
