About the role

TALA, known for activewear that keeps up with busy lifestyles, has been on a rocket ship since its founding in 2019 by entrepreneur Grace Beverley. Built on largely organic socials, today we are a digital-first, multichannel women’s athleisure brand with a multi-faceted growth and retention strategy, trading on impressive numbers. TALA recently opened a 2,000-square-foot, double-fronted Store on London’s iconic Carnaby Street as part of our ambitious growth strategy, backed by a recent funding round.

We are opening our second retail store in London, and looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead and inspire a new store opening team. The Store Manager will build their own selling team and on opening, ensuring the store achieves targets, delivers results with commercial and operational excellence.

Tasks

What you\’ll be doing

  • Managing and developing the selling team to provide the highest standards of in store service
  • Working with HQ teams including Merchandising, Operations & Logistics, Finance and Marketing on weekly/monthly reporting packs and feedback
  • Manage store operations
  • Onboarding, training and reviewing team performance
  • Work with Merchandising & Logistics teams on store stock management
  • Visual Merchandising in line with Marketing briefs
  • Recruit and retain store talent
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by implementing and maintaining store safety protocols, conducting regular audits, and training staff to uphold a safe environment for both employees and customers.

  • A strong understanding of the visual identity and how to translate to store
