About the Role: TALA, known for activewear that keeps up with busy lifestyles, has been on a rocket ship since its founding in 2019 by entrepreneur Grace Beverley. We’re looking for a People & Culture Coordinator to join our growing team, reporting directly to the People & Culture Manager. You’ll be the first point of contact for all people related queries across both Head Office and Retail, acting as a trusted, friendly and solutions‑focused partner to the business. This role combines hands‑on People Operations with creative ownership, from internal events to culture‑building moments that shape the TALA employee experience.
Tasks
- People Operations
- Managing the full employee lifecycle, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience from onboarding to offboarding
- Preparing and processing monthly payroll with accuracy and timeliness
- Drafting and issuing employment contracts and supporting documentation
- Maintaining and updating our HRIS to ensure data integrity and compliance
- Coordinating employee benefits and supporting with benefit queries
- Producing monthly People reports and insights for the business

- Creating and sharing fun, engaging team updates that reflect our TALA tone of voice
- Internal Events
- Owning our ‘Moments That Matter’ calendar, ensuring we recognise and celebrate key moments throughout the year
- Planning and delivering monthly team socials
- Coordinating our annual Summer Party and Christmas Party, bringing creativity and energy to each event
- Talent
- Partnering with hiring managers to create role profiles
- Posting vacancies across job boards and managing candidate pipelines
- Screening applications and coordinating interviews, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience
- Other
- Support the People & Culture manager with the execution of People Projects
- Maintaining and updating People policies and guidelines, ensuring compliance and consistency

Requirements
- 1–2 years’ experience in a People Coordinator or similar People Operations role
- Exceptional attention to detail, you’ll be handling lots of data, and accuracy is key
- Comfortable managing sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
- HRIS experience, HiBob is a plus!
- A creative eye and a passion for bringing ideas to life, this role goes beyond traditional People Ops.
