About the Role: TALA, known for activewear that keeps up with busy lifestyles, has been on a rocket ship since its founding in 2019 by entrepreneur Grace Beverley. Powered by a highly engaged, largely organic social community, we’ve evolved into a digital‑first, multichannel women’s athleisure brand with a sophisticated growth and retention engine. In 2025, we accelerated our physical retail expansion with the opening of two London stores, Carnaby Street and Westfield White City, marking a major step in our long‑term brand and community strategy. We are looking for a BAA to join our product team. It’s an amazing opportunity for an established BAA to work across multiple product categories, inclusive of Apparel and Non Apparel. You will report directly to the Junior Buyer and work closely with the Buying Manager, Design, Garment Technology, Merchandising and Marketing.

  • Management of the critical path and department documents, ensuring all information is up to date and readily accessible by other teams
  • Build excellent relationships with suppliers
  • Ensuring all information in the range plan is correct and updated on time
  • Raising SKU’s and Purchase orders, amending orders where required
  • Manage the tracking and administration of supplier quotations and open cost sheets, maintaining pricing accuracy and escalating delays or discrepancies to the Buying team where required
  • Sample Management
  • Manage the sample order process, ensuring all samples arrive on time for internal teams including shoots, influencer, and other key projects.
  • Maintain an organised sample inventory by keeping all samples tidy, stored correctly, and prepared for meetings as needed.
  • Other Buying Responsibilities
  • Assisting in fit sessions, providing administrative support
  • Conduct competitor analysis and review emerging trends
  • Managing sample invoice process
  • General team administration - post, courier and other ad hoc admin duties
  • Provide administrative support to the Buying Manager and Junior Buyer, in all areas of the buying department
  • Has an understanding of the costing process and has the confidence to contribute ideas around cost negotiations.

Requirements What we’re looking for:

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Understanding of the buying function and critical path processes
  • Ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and other departments within TALA HQ
  • Previous experience within a Buying role (minimum 1-2 years)

Benefits What we can offer:

  • 25 days holiday a year plus bank holidays
  • Very generous employee discount after probation period
  • Nominated Friends & Family Discount
  • Clothing allowance spending gift
  • Class Pass or Gym Flex membership
  • Health Shield
  • Enhanced maternity/paternity pay
  • Charity fundraising match of up to £1,000
