The BI team sits at the heart of the commercial organization, aligning systems, departments, and processes while delivering best‑in‑class analytics and insights. The team focuses on increasing growth and efficiency through data‑driven decisioning, system alignment, predictive analytics, automation, and process innovation. The role is integral to expanding the analytical function and implementing the commercial data, analytics, and reporting strategy across MiQ.
The role requires strong experience with data visualization tools, advanced Excel, data management, data flows, and SQL coding. A problem‑solver with a growth mindset is required, and a working knowledge of enterprise‑level CRM, ERP, data visualization, and AI tools is preferred.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Serve as the bridge between data engineers and the business, facilitating reporting needs and ensuring timely delivery.
- Lead revenue‑focused projects such as automation, forecasting process streamlining, pipeline analysis, revenue intelligence, goal setting, and reporting.
- Deliver repeatable revenue and profit analysis, insights, and recommendations.
- Create dashboards, visualizations, and custom reports.
- Enrich commercial intelligence by adding data sets and metrics (e.g., deals, retention, churn, quotas, activity tracking).
- Automate the quarterly and monthly forecasting process.
- Own, maintain, and report on seller quotas, pipeline forecast reports, win rates, retention, regional forecasting, and commercial deals.
- Produce technical documentation.
- Deliver ad‑hoc reporting, insights, and analysis for commercial departments and leadership.
- Manage project timelines, stakeholder communication, and adoption of new dashboards, processes, or systems.
- Identify business requirements and coordinate with stakeholders to maintain data quality.
- Provide training to key users across departments.
- Drive continuous improvement based on stakeholder feedback.
- Use world‑class visualization tools to support forecasting and predictive modeling.
- Automate existing processes and workflows and explore new digital solutions such as AI utilization.
Your Qualifications & Skills
- Advanced data visualization experience in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and proficiency in developing dashboards, Excel models, PowerPoint, Slack, and real‑time notifications.
- Proficiency in SQL and data querying.
- Experience with enterprise‑level CRM and/or ERP platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
- Knowledge of data governance, including data quality, security, and compliance.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and cloud‑based data storage (S3, Google Cloud Storage).
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R (nice to have).
- Experience working with AI platforms (nice to have).
- Experience with data modeling and data architecture design (nice to have).
- Understanding of machine‑learning algorithms for regression, classification, clustering, and time‑series forecasting (nice to have).
