We are searching for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team in Hayes, London. You'll play a pivotal part in supporting our Senior Management Accountant and the wider finance team of Panavision UK and the Panavision Europe Group. You'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, from preparing accurate and timely management accounts to assisting with year-end audits and statutory reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Senior Management Accountant on monthly management accounts for the group, including intercompany reconciliations.
- Prepare financial reports including plans and reforecasts, providing valuable insights for senior management.
- Manage essential tasks like setting up new supplier accounts and processing weekly/monthly payroll payments.
- Monitor capital expenditure and ensure proper submission of Capex requests.
- Prepare monthly journals, update trackers, and assist with cash flow forecasting.
- Assist in the year end audit and statutory audit.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for review by Management Accountant and/or Financial Controller.
- Prepare monthly 3rd party sub-hire reports; marketing analysis, departmental reports and any ad-hoc reports.
- Maintain best practice corporate governance and ensure compliance with all statutory regulations and those supplied within the Company Code of Conduct and Company policies.
- Complete a range of ad-hoc tasks to support the team's success.
What you'll bring:
- Part-qualified Accounting Technician (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years experience in a fast-paced commercial environment.
- High confidence with Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and other accounting software.
- A keen analyst with the ability to handle high-volume transactions.
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
- A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Highly organized with a meticulous eye for detail.
