TAL Agency is a fast-growing boutique search agency based in the North West, looking for exceptional digital marketers to join our expanding Digital PR team (within the SEO department). We’re on the lookout for a Digital PR Manager who’s confident, strategic, and knows how to get results in the form of high-quality, relevant links that improve organic performance. You’ll play an integral role in the organic team, managing media relations, supporting link-building strategy, and helping to shape the future of PR-led SEO at the agency.
Objectives
- To secure high-authority links and media placements across a wide range of clients and industries.
- Support the Head of SEO with targeted link-building strategies that directly drive improvements in organic performance.
- Support the SEO Executive with the delivery and implementation of link-building tactics.
- Build brand mentions to support visibility in AI-powered search results.
- Build brand awareness and recognition on relevant forums such as Reddit, Quora and niche communities.
- Understand what stories, hooks, and content formats resonate with journalists and online audiences.
- Track competitor activity to identify gaps and opportunities for strategic outreach.
- Contribute to the growth and innovation of the Digital PR offering at TAL Agency.
Responsibilities
- Manage and implement link acquisition strategies for a portfolio of clients.
- Collaborate with the content and strategy teams to create compelling campaigns and outreach narratives.
- Own the outreach process end-to-end, from ideation through to media list building, press release creation, and follow-ups.
- Work closely with the Head of SEO on bespoke link-building plans aligned to performance KPIs.
- Support the SEO Executive with day-to-day outreach and campaign delivery.
- Monitor and build brand mentions to support both traditional SEO and emerging AI search environments.
- Seek out opportunities for brand placements in communities and forums to build organic visibility and trust.
- Regularly report on links acquired, coverage achieved, and organic impact.
- Communicate directly with clients, presenting quarterly PR and outreach strategies.
- Collaborate on new business pitches and proposals.
- Keep internal teams updated on campaign progress, roadblocks and results.
About you

- Strong working knowledge of outreach, digital PR, and ethical link-building tactics.
- Good understanding of the technical role that links play in organic SEO.

Requirements
- 2–3 years' experience in Digital PR, Outreach, or SEO (agency or in-house).
- Proven track record of delivering successful link-building campaigns.
- Familiarity with tools like Moz, Majestic, Ahrefs, BuzzStream, Gorkana, and ResponseSource.
- Experience building brand mentions and links through non-traditional routes such as forums, Reddit, Quora, and online communities.
- Solid grasp of SEO fundamentals, especially in relation to links and organic visibility.
- Strong copywriting and media liaison skills.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple clients and campaigns at once.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per year (DOE)
