As part of our commitment to delivering exceptional service, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Financial Accountant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining the financial integrity of the business, supporting strategic decision-making, and contributing to our continued growth and success. Reporting and compliance of Key Financial Statements, with adhearance to U K Accounting Standards. Ensuring that the ledgers are up to date, invoicing is correct and timely and that balance sheet reconciliations are completed and reviewed. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ( Anaplan) ~ Maintain accurate general ledger records and reconciliations ~ Manage statutory accounts and Companies House filings ~ Ensure compliance with U K accounting standards and tax regulations ~ Prepare V A T returns, corporation tax information, and O N S returns ~ Monitor cash flow, capital spend and financial controls ~ Support audits and liaise with external auditors ~ Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations ~ Improve accounting processes, systems, and internal controls ~ Oversee Risk Management activities Part or Fully qualified accountant ~5+ years finance experience ~ Competent in Microsoft Excel ~ Use of recognised accounting packages ~ Interaction all members of the Finance team ~ Working across departments on financial control and approval, at all levels of the organisation ~ 34 days annual leave, including bank holidays and your birthday off ~ Life Insurance ~ Medical Insurance Lite ~ Pension scheme ~ Wellness programmes ~ Cycle to Work scheme ~ Long Service Awards ~ Employee discount scheme ~ Free on-site parking ~ Casual dress ~ Ongoing learning and development opportunities This role is subject to a Basic D B S check and satisfactory references in line with our security policy.
