Job Description

Job Function
As a Service Development Manager at Takeda UK, you will be part of a small team of three colleagues, collaborating with external stakeholders to create or enhance ADHD services across the UK. Your responsibilities include developing new services within the ecosystem and improving existing ones. You will work with stakeholders to devise strategies for reducing waiting times for ADHD diagnosis and care, increasing patient throughput, and improving patient outcomes.

Overall Accountability

  • Collaborate with external stakeholders to increase capacity and improve ADHD services, demonstrating patient uplift through key milestones.
  • Deliver the SDM strategy aligned with the medical strategy, including implementing national projects.
  • Understand the ADHD eco-system, referral pathways, funding streams, and structures to develop appropriate plans.
  • Create, monitor, and review project plans and objectives, adjusting as needed to achieve goals.
  • Work with Takeda field teams and Head Office functions to integrate practices and leverage value for the company and NHS.
  • Ensure compliance with the APBI Code of Practice and Takeda SOPs, completing required training to maintain the company\’s reputation.

Skills and Qualifications

  • High-level project planning skills with experience delivering complex projects.
  • Experience managing customer relationships across various customer types, including decision makers.
  • Degree in scientific or business-related subject or equivalent qualification such as nursing.
  • Driving license.
  • Exceptional project management skills with a collaborative approach.
  • Understanding of the UK pharmaceutical industry, NHS policies, structures, funding streams, and processes relevant to promoted products.
