Job Description
Role Objective
The Marketing Associate supports the planning, execution, and optimisation of marketing activities across the oncology portfolio.
Working closely with brand, medical, insights, sales, and omnichannel teams, the role contributes to campaign delivery, customer engagement, performance analysis, and digital initiatives that enhance the customer experience and support business objectives.
This is an early-career role offering broad exposure to pharmaceutical marketing, omnichannel engagement, customer journey development, and data-driven decision making.
Key Accountabilities
- Brand & Marketing Support
- Support the development and execution of brand plans and tactical marketing activities.
- Assist in creating marketing materials and coordinating approval, deployment, and tracking processes.
- Support market research activities and gather customer, market, and competitor insights.
- Monitor campaign and brand performance and identify opportunities for optimisation.
- Customer Experience & Omnichannel Engagement
- Support execution of omnichannel campaigns across digital, field, and CRM channels.
- Assist in building and maintaining customer journeys and engagement plans.
- Support deployment of approved content through channels such as Veeva, email, web, and other digital platforms.
- Contribute to modular content, content tagging, and channel effectiveness initiatives.
- Help monitor engagement metrics and generate insights to improve customer experience.
- Data, Insights & Performance
- Track campaign performance and support KPI reporting.
- Assist in developing dashboards and performance summaries.
- Analyse campaign and customer engagement data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Support data quality and CRM management activities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing, Medical, Insights & Analytics, Sales, Market Access, and external agencies to deliver marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate project activities and ensure timelines and deliverables are met.
- Support implementation of innovative marketing and customer engagement initiatives.
- Compliance & Governance
- Ensure all activities comply with ABPI, Takeda policies, consent requirements, and data privacy regulations.
- Maintain high standards of quality, compliance, and operational excellence.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Power Point and Excel.
- Preferred
- Exposure to digital marketing, CRM systems, or campaign management platforms.
- Basic data analysis and reporting experience.
- Understanding of the NHS, pharmaceutical industry, or healthcare environment.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Veeva, SFMC, or analytics tools is advantageous
