2026 UK Takeda Industrial Placement Programme: There are many paths to impact patients' lives, and a Takeda Industrial Placement Programme is a great way to start. Are you looking for a 12-month Industrial Placement as part of your university sandwich year? Based in our UK Head Offices in Paddington, Central London, with some flexibility around remote work (a minimum of 8 office days per month), these placements will be based within one of our Marketing functions. You will be aligned to one of our therapy area business units, where, from day one, you will play an important and integral role in our organisation. A placement at Takeda allows us to mutually learn from each other; we help you in your development, and you get an insight into what it means to live by our core principles.

For our 2026 Industrial Placement Program starting in July 2026, applications are open for a placement in either Oncology, Gastro-Intestinal, Neuroscience, or Rare Disease Business Units. Join one of our brand teams working with world-class marketeers assisting in the cross-functional tactical implementation of the brand strategy, engaging with our stakeholders and supporting patients with our life-transforming treatment.

Be part of and lead key omnichannel marketing campaigns including the development of materials (emails, videos, leaflets etc.). Support with the logistics of our business-critical approval process for sales force materials, meeting invitations, slides etc. Manage the internal approval process and withdrawals via Promomats (the materials approval database system). Assist the brand team with the logistics of internal and external meetings, liaise with our key customers, and engage with outside agencies. Take an active role in our early careers community IGNITE and other Takeda Reference groups aligned to our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion values.

You are currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree and are looking to complete a 12-month placement as part of your ongoing studies, returning to your course at the end of the placement. Our roles would suit a candidate who is currently enrolled in a STEM or marketing degree, who thrives working in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working as a team player, and is interested in developing a career in the pharmaceutical industry.

As an undergraduate applicant, you will be starting your year in industry in the summer of 2026 as part of your degree studies. Please apply online. To identify candidates, you may go through the following stages: CV & Cover Letter screening, Online Aptitude Testing, Video interview with Talent Team, Online Personality Questionnaire, and finally a face-to-face or virtual assessment centre. Assessment Centres are expected to be held in January - February 2026, and successful candidates will start in July 2026. Candidates will be assigned to a placement according to suitability as determined following our Assessment Process.
