Overview: Senior Financial Controller UK & Ireland (UK&I). Lead critical controllership for the largest trading segment within Group Finance. Deliver excellence by overseeing the audit process and ensuring financial regulatory compliance for our complex regional operations. Collaboration with senior stakeholders to mitigate financial risk and simplify processes.

Location: London (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

  • Drive financial controllership for the UK&I, ensuring the integrity and quality of all reporting deliverables.
  • Lead as the primary audit coordinator, preparing position papers and managing relationships with external auditors.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with the Group Accounting Manual and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Oversee UK&I results and review Global Finance Operations (GFO) output for reliability.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Finance and Tax teams, acting as a key communication channel to enable success.
  • Perform analyses on financial data to ensure an efficient and accurate Month-End Close.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Deep understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and audit standards with a results-driven mindset.
  • Experience in audit or controllership within a large listed multinational or Big 4 environment.
  • Professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/RA) or a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
