Sales Consultant – Fixed Term – Sofology

Key Responsibilities
- Engage customers via telephone, web chat and email, guiding them to their ideal sofa and upselling related products.
- Listen, understand and match customer needs with the right piece of furniture, ensuring a smooth purchasing journey.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of all product lines and promotions to provide accurate advice.
- Complete and process finance applications in line with FCA and TCF regulatory requirements.
- Generate and pipeline leads, ensuring timely follow‑up to maximise conversion and revenue.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the business to recommend process and product improvements.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere across all channels.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous sales experience, preferably in omni‑channel or B2C environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a clear, confident telephone manner.
- Strong IT competence and ability to adapt to rapid change.
- Passion for sales and a genuine desire to help customers make the best decision.
- Positive, engaging outlook and ability to influence through language and enthusiasm.
- Capacity to close sales and achieve set targets.
- Resilient and able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proactive and willing to learn and mentor others.

Work Arrangement
This role is primarily based from home, with one day per week in store or the support office. Working turns‑over and weekends on a rota basis are expected.
