The Challenge: Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., a leading interactive entertainment company, seeks a paralegal to join its Privacy legal team. This is an opportunity to join a global privacy program and work with multiple game labels across the company to support privacy contract diligence, privacy reviews of games and services, and help build and maintain the privacy program. This is a hybrid in-person position that will operate out of Take-Two’s office located in London, UK. The selected candidate will support teams located in North American and Western European time zones.
What You’ll Take On:
- Assist with pre-contract privacy diligence, review privacy terms with vendors and partners, and maintain related materials and processes.
- Conduct diligence on vendor services with business requestors; provide timely reviews and communications for productive and efficient contract review processes.
- Review, assess, and mark-up vendor privacy terms for consistency with Take-Two expectations.
- Apply sound judgment for escalations and negotiations.
- Contribute to internal resources for pre-contract privacy diligence and negotiations.
- Support privacy reviews of game, data, and service proposals in collaboration with game publishing labels; track key information and tasks for game reviews.
- Monitor intake, triage, and support player and employee data request processes and escalated responses.
- Draft, update, and maintain internal resources and guidelines.
- Monitor privacy developments (legislation, enforcement, news, etc.) and maintain internal tracking.
- Assist with maintenance and continued development of the privacy program including assessments and training.
- Serve as part of a global team of lawyers, paralegals, and staff helping Take-Two’s game labels create the most innovative and creative products as efficiently as possible.
- Act as a fundamental contributor to the long term growth of the Privacy Team.
What You Bring:
- 3+ years experience as a paralegal.
- Working knowledge of privacy laws and regulations.
- Experience using privacy management tools (OneTrust preferred) and conducting privacy contract and vendor diligence reviews.
- Experience managing workflows involving a variety of business partners.
- Experience reviewing privacy contract terms in a variety of services, licensing, and other commercial agreements.
- Experience with mobile, advertising technology, or digital technology.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a strong ability to balance multiple matters simultaneously and appropriately prioritise projects.
- Genuine desire and enthusiasm to work in the video games industry.
- Must be a team player with common sense, kindness, good humour, and dedication to succeeding together.
