The Challenge
The Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity Senior Specialist role is responsible to engage across Labels, Operations, Information Technology and Cybersecurity in developing and improving recovery, monitoring and testing capabilities. The person in the role will also help to drive efforts to improve overall business recovery efforts within our gaming products and services. The ideal candidate is a proactive strategist who can develop, implement, and test comprehensive recovery solutions while aligning closely with our broader business continuity goals. This role is an individual contributor concentrating on disaster recovery strategy.
What You’ll Take On
- Support Take-Two’s global disaster recovery, business continuity management, incident management, and crisis management programs across the company.
- Responsible for coordinating and maintaining the global disaster recovery and business continuity programs to ensure our partners, products, and technologies are prepared to respond to business disruptions.
- Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity programs including risk assessments, business impact analyses, and documentation.
- Plan, conduct, and debrief regular scenario-based exercises to test the adequacy of existing plans and strategies, updating procedures and plans regularly.
- Establish and maintain disaster recovery programs, processes and practices which ensures that the program remains current and incorporates/aligns with industry standards and practices as appropriate and adequately covers regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate the development, maintenance, and implementation of disaster recovery plans for multiple labels.
- Collaborate with IT and business leaders to align DR strategies with enterprise-wide Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
- Coordinate with stakeholders and partners across multiple labels to identify interdependencies and critical recovery points.
- Perform risk assessments and business impact analyses (BIAs) to determine key areas of vulnerability.
- Design and lead complex DR testing scenarios (including cyberattack simulations, server outages, and data recovery drills).
- Evaluate and recommend DR technologies (e.g., backup solutions, cloud replication, virtualisation).
- Ensure all DR/BCP documentation remains current, auditable, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain communication plans for critical issue resolution during emergency response.
- Train internal teams on DR/BCP procedures and ensure awareness at all levels.
- Produce reports and metrics to present to executives and audit/compliance teams.
- Works with business units to develop and ensure effective business recovery plans that allow critical business functions to be resumed within defined timetables and acceptable risk factors.
- Work with technologists to ensure that all critical business functions can be resumed within defined timetables and acceptable risk factors. Monitors and reports on all planning activity and statistical results to senior management and financial regulatory agencies to ensure corporate regulatory and audit compliance
- Produce ad hoc data and reports in support of business incident management and impact analysis.
- Educates users on the corporation’s business recovery planning software and recovery methodology.
- Stays on top of industry-related disaster recovery processes and evaluating the efficiency of implementing changes to existing practices.
What You Bring
- 5+ years experience in disaster recovery and/or business continuity roles.
- Demonstrable experience managing DR/BCP in a multi-entity or enterprise organization.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, networking, and security.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional recovery teams across diverse lines of business.
- Familiarity with industry frameworks such as ISO, NIST, or COBIT.
- Excellent communication, planning, and documentation skills.
- Administration experience with tools such as Fusion Framework, AlertMedia, ServiceNow or similar platforms is a plus.
- Relevant certifications a plus (e.g., CBCP, CBCI, etc.).

- Background in gaming, entertainment, or high-availability digital services.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance in disaster recovery (e.g., GDPR, SOX, etc.).
- Experience in remote work/distributed teams\’ continuity planning.
