The Endpoint Systems Engineering team crafts, builds, deploys and maintains a wide variety of IT infrastructure using the latest standards and technologies. Take-Two Interactive is seeking an End Point Systems Engineer with diverse skills in systems infrastructure and programming. This candidate will participate in engineering projects, provide technical expertise, and assist in developing strategic plans. Experience in architecting and supporting large-scale enterprise networks, storage, and system infrastructures in various cloud and on-prem solutions is required. In this role, you will be responsible for working individually and within a team, ensuring technical perfection, and delivering innovative solutions that align with company objectives.
What You’ll Take On
- Coordinate complex engineering projects, providing technical expertise.
- Collaborate with collaborators, customers, partners, and team members to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Understanding of full product suite and tool set leveraged by the business.
- Identify and assess new technologies and methodologies to enhance processes.
- Align engineering initiatives with business goals.
- Develop continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate closely with various teams, including product management, operations, and marketing.
- Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical collaborators.
- Maintain relationships with external partners and vendors regarding engineering matters.
- Coordinate testing, validation, and quality assurance processes.
- Ensure projects meet or exceed technical and operational standards.
What You Bring
- Proficient with Windows, Linux, including installing, configuring and problem solving issues.
- Experience leading virtualized environments (e.g. VMware, Nutanix).
- Practical networking experience (4 layer model, TCP/IP) including diagnosing, and remediating basic network issues (e.g., firewalls).
- Demonstrable ability to write and debug automation tools and scripts (e.g. PowerShell, shell scripts, Python).
- Experience with software development principles, including version control systems, Agile development methodologies, and automated CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Perforce, Jenkins, Git).
- Strong ability to learn new technologies and dive into challenges.
- Capable of written and verbal communication among both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive endpoint management strategy.
- Supervise lifecycle management for all endpoint devices, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
- Design and implement configurations using tools like Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), SCCM, JAMF or similar.
- Standardize and maintain operating system images, software configurations, and group policies to optimize performance.
- Implement endpoint security solutions, including antivirus, EDR, and encryption tools.
- Supervise for vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
- Cultivate collaboration with multi-functional teams, including gaming labels, IT operations, network, and security teams.
- Automate endpoint provisioning, updates, and monitoring using scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance strategies.
- Maintain detailed documentation of endpoint architecture, configurations, and processes.
- Generate and analyze reports on endpoint performance, compliance, and user experience.
