Title: Programme Manager
Location: Remote, with some evening, weekend, and travel commitments to support programme delivery and operations

Salary: ÂŁ11,000 (6 month part-time contract)
Contract: This is an initial six-month contract at 3-days/21 hours per week , with a review at the end of the term.
About Take Her Lead
Take Her Lead (THL) is a charity founded to promote equality and diversity in cricket and increase the participation of women & girls. Our mission is to ensure every woman and girl feels like they belong in cricket, by empowering, amplifying and connecting across the cricket community.
Founded in 2022 by former England cricketer Isa Guha in memory of her mum, Roma, Take Her Lead is creating a cricket culture where every woman and girl can fulfil their potential and thrive, within the game and beyond.
About The Role
The Programme Manager (PM) at THL plays a pivotal role in leading and managing the programmes at the very heart of the organisation. The successful candidate will oversee the planning and execution of our flagship THL programmes – THL Champion’s Programme and THL Women’s Network, as well as ad-hoc projects as needed, ensuring they are delivered to the highest possible standard and positively impact THL’s fundraising goals. Reporting to the Operations Lead, the PM will work closely with delivery partners, county leads, and our THL Champions network (female role models), ensuring participants have a positive experience from start to finish.
Responsibilities
Programme Delivery
- Plan, schedule, and deliver Take Her Lead programmes, including logistics, materials, and stakeholder liaison.
- Provide on-the-day delivery support at events and activities, including occasional evenings/weekends.
- Ensure processes are efficient and effective with clear stakeholder communication
Champion, Staff & Volunteer Coordination
- Recruit, train, and co-ordinate THL Champions, staff, and volunteers.
- Provide briefings, communications, and support for programme delivery.
Safeguarding & Welfare
- Act as safeguarding lead during programme delivery.
- Ensure all staff, volunteers, and Champions have completed required checks and training.
- Respond promptly to safeguarding concerns in line with policy.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Collect and record attendance, feedback, and evaluation data.
- Contribute to reports for the Operations Lead, Board, and funders.
Communications & Engagement
- Showcase and promote programme delivery through marketing activity e.g. social media engagement, case studies, flyers and newsletters
- Maintain relationships with schools, clubs, counties, delivery partners, and stakeholders.
Skills and Experience (Essential)
- Minimum 3 years experience in delivering and managing successful programmes
- Previous experience of budget management and resource allocation
- Demonstrated experience (min 2 years) of leading and managing a team effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to measure, analyse and present impact of programmes
- Experience of working with young people in sport or community settings
Skills and Experience (Desired)
- Demonstrated understanding of gender equity and inclusion in sport
- Experience in designing workshops or facilitating
- Innovative thinking and solution-oriented approach
- Working knowledge of Google suite
- Working knowledge of Safeguarding best practice
As this role entails working with young people, you will require a valid DBS certificate and safeguarding training.
