Overview

Jennifer, a 27‑year‑old woman living in the Motherwell area, has learning and neurological disabilities and requires a dedicated personal assistant. She maintains a busy social life and seeks an energetic assistant with a good sense of humour who can encourage new adventures.

Responsibilities

  • One‑to‑one care and assistance within the home and in the community, including accompanying to social activities.
  • Escort to leisure activities such as shopping, ice skating, swimming and TikTok creation.
  • Plan fun activities and new things to try.
  • Keep Jennifer safe and help her understand risks.
  • Assist with shopping and any other daily living tasks to promote independent living.

Qualifications

  • Outgoing, kind and caring personality.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence – you will use your own vehicle; mileage allowance will be paid.
  • Experience preferred but training will be provided.

Hours & Pay

Typically 8 hours per week; more hours may be available to cover holidays and absence from the other PA. Preferred day: Tuesday 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Flexible Monday‑Friday with one other PA; occasional weekends and shifts may be discussed at interview.

Hourly rate: £13.00 per hour.
