What the job involves
This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role leading a team of professionals who play an important role in keeping our community safe. As Compliance and Community Safety Manager, you will be responsible for taking this high performing function to the next level. You'll champion an education-based approach to facilitate pragmatic, safe and fair outcomes, including leading formal action when required.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Proven leadership and people management experience, in a local government or similar environment, including management of contractors and contracts.
- Technical or professional experience in a regulatory environment, with legal action experience being an advantage.
- A commitment to customer service excellence and community engagement.
- A collaborative and curious approach to build internal and external relationships and to discover future opportunities.
