The Technical Trainer will provide primarily customer-facing training on the TAIT group of companies’ automation platforms and associated systems. They will also be instrumental in the development of content for future training offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Classroom Training: Facilitate classroom training on the TAIT and/or Kinesys automation platforms. Create and develop training materials to support the delivery of classroom training, incorporating different learning styles.
- Onsite Training: Facilitate either onsite or online/remote training on various topics as needed (by customer request). Create and develop training materials to support the delivery of onsite training.
- Process Management: Develop and manage appropriate processes for training administration. Manage and update necessary training information via internal communication tools.
- Tracking & Reporting: Effectively utilize the TAIT external LMS to house and manage training activity and learner progress. Provide learner tracking and reporting as needed/requested.
- Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with team members, department heads, and other stakeholders to understand organizational needs and align customer-facing learning programs with business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Professional experience working with automation controls systems.
- In-depth knowledge of NAVIGATOR; working knowledge of iQ, eCham/Cham 5, Vector.
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and agile environment.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels of the organization.
- Affinity for working closely with customers to solve challenges and provide a great customer experience.
