Position Purpose: Saw Operators play a key role in our manufacturing process, producing parts using computer numerically controlled (CNC) saws and manual saws, Guillotines to cut and produce precision components. Essentially, a Saw Operator’s goal is to ensure effective production operations and optimize procedures to produce high quality, precision parts. Other essential duties include:
- Maintaining machines to the highest possible standards
- Interfacing with other departments to solve problems
- Observing processes that support the wider business
- Stock control
- Having an active role in site safety
- Ensuring collaboration and teamwork to execute on manufacturing to the highest possible standards
Rotating shift availability: Days / Afters – either 6:00 – 14:00 or 14:00 – 22:00.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings to manufacture precision parts
- Ensure parts are manufactured to desired tolerances as instructed
