Position Purpose: To assemble, test and maintain staging and automation assets and systems.

Job Expectations:

  • Servicing, testing and modifying staging and automation equipment to ensure the assets can be delivered to a high standard of quality and reliability.
  • Be responsible for the satisfactory delivery of staging and automation assets to integration.
  • Prepare, assemble, and test the equipment as requested, ensuring that all is delivered on time and within budget and that any required modifications are communicated to the Assets team.
  • Manage agreed assets prep, taking ownership of the job, and always being proactive, ensuring that all Health and Safety requirements are met.
  • Maintain tools, work areas, and equipment that are clean and orderly.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and follow safe working practices.
  • Maintain technical knowledge through training and mentorship.
  • If required, travel to complete site work.
  • Collaborate and communicate with other Technicians.
  • Identify and propose ideas and solutions to improve the build quality or efficiency.
  • Use Rental works or other asset management systems to keep current and accurate records.
  • Uphold responsibility for maintaining the physical location of all assets between buildings.
  • Adhere to all safety best practices.

Foundation / Position Requirements:

  • Experience with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and fulfill picklists.
  • Experience in a warehouse or rentals environment.
  • Knowledge of entertainment staging and installation.
