Position Purpose: "Integration Swing Tech" plays a crucial role as a team of people responsible for making sure that all our integrators and project teams have the necessary help to continue delivering projects successfully. As the title implies, the "swing" role is rooted in the ability to be flexible, grown through a diverse and generalist skillset, and is further fortified with a fierce appetite for continuous learning. Leaning on a positive approach to troubleshooting problems with creative solutions, this position is almost always hands-on, with a strong level of technical expertise, and a robust commitment to quality on par in importance to teamwork and the strong ability to self-start. Most importantly, this position involves having fun while performing meaningful work that directly and positively contributes to the success of the integration team and the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment in various Integration spaces.
  • Assist in the installation and setup of equipment, machinery, and TAIT products.
  • Provide support to Integrators on projects where required including planning, building, batching and other general support.
  • Focus on infrastructure and building preparations to help facilitate project needs.
  • Hang chain motors and rigging equipment to support aforementioned project infrastructure.
  • Advance preparations and improvements related to shop flow and storage.
  • Stock and supply all amounts of safety equipment and signage in support of projects.
  • Contribute to the unloading & loading of trucks and material transfer between TAIT and local buildings.
  • Set up and prepare all electrical requirements in advance of a project.
  • Support with the organization and tracking of Integration tooling.
  • Receive and sort Integration equipment/gear that returns from onsite jobs.
  • Effectively manage workload, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to work both independently and as part of a team.

Position Requirements:

  • Experience working in the entertainment industry.
  • Some knowledge and understanding of entertainment/construction technology and equipment.
  • Proven experience with fabrication tools and techniques related to assembly and modification of parts.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and software.
  • Strong commitment to safety protocols and the ability to work in a safe manner in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Ability to travel and work in "entertainment conditions".
  • Right to work in the UK.
