What you’ll be doing:
We’ve got an ambitious and bold strategy for the future of our business, which has Engineering at its heart. Your role is crucial to the execution of this strategy. Working closely with our Head of Engineering, you will be bringing your knowledge and experience to bear as we update and improve our current approach to delivering New Product Introduction (NPI) Projects. Putting the theory into practice, you will also manage our engineering projects from inception through to delivery. You will closely track and report on scope, schedule, and cost, managing risks along the way.
How you’ll do it:
- You’ll work with the Engineering team to turn new product proposals into comprehensive project plans, plotting out the stages, timelines, budgets, and milestones required by a multi-disciplined engineering team.
- You’ll work with the project team to track progress on a day-to-day basis, continually optimising for the desired quality, scope, schedule, and budget.
- You’ll use appropriate project management tools to assist with planning and reporting.
- You’ll help identify any roadblocks or risks to the project delivery or budget, finding ways to remove the blocks and/or escalating when required.
- You’ll build relationships; with the Engineering Team, across Kinesys, and throughout the TAIT Group to help ensure broad visibility of, and engagement with, team progress.

Your experience and knowledge:
- You’ve got proven experience working in an engineering environment and successfully delivering New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
- You’ve developed your own ideas of what it takes to deliver products well, and you’re looking for an opportunity to put them into practice.
