Are you a Service Engineer looking to significantly increase your earnings with overtime, plenty of training, a variety of work and the chance to travel the world? With a strong mechanical grounding and some basic electrical experience, you will play a key role in the service team of this reputable manufacturer, highly regarded in their industry.

As a go-to Service Engineer, you'll service, maintain and commission food processing equipment predominantly across the UK, with occasional trips to Europe and further afield. Off the back of a full order book and continued growth, this machinery manufacturer is expanding its field service team. They have long-standing clients across food, beverage and chemical processing industries, excellent staff retention and have a great reputation.

This role would suit an apprentice-trained Mechanical Fitter, Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer from food processing, FMCG, heavy engineering, industrial, REME etc, who is looking for a varied technical role, with training, travel opportunities and significant earnings on top of your base.

DUTIES
  • Service commissioning on a wide variety of specialist machinery and equipment
  • Mainly field based, covering the UK and Europe, with some occasional travel further
  • Plenty of overtime and allowances equalling an OTE of £75k - £80k
PERSON
  • Mechanical bias Engineer, ideally with an apprenticeship or similar
  • Basic electrical fault finding skills
  • Previously worked on manufacturing machinery
  • Happy to travel when required
  • Based commutable distance to Peterborough for workshop based days
  • Gas Safe or PLC experience is preferred but not essential
