The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join a thriving organisation in the technology and services sector who are seeking an experienced Commercial & Data Protection Officer to join its Finance function on a part-time / fractional basis. Reporting to the Group Finance Director, this senior role will suit a commercially astute professional with experience across data protection, governance, and contractual risk, looking for a flexible position with real influence.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Data Protection Officer, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
- Review and advise on commercial and contractual documentation
- Maintain statutory records, corporate registers, and the electronic data room
- File annual returns and statutory updates with Companies House
- Advise directors on governance, statutory duties, and corporate compliance
- Support share scheme administration and oversee company insurance renewals
About You
- Senior experience in a commercial, legal, or governance-focused role
- Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable operating at board or executive level
- Background in legal, banking, insurance, or regulated environments beneficial
- Company Secretarial experience desirable
- No Formal Qualifications Required - Experience Is Key.
