We are looking for a truly brilliant Hands-on Development Lead to take on responsibility for line managing our developers, to join our team. This is one of the key roles in the company. Ensuring our developers are happy, motivated and have personal development plans that are being followed in practice is pivotal to our success. You don’t need to have line management experience, but you will need to genuinely care about seeing your development team develop and grow.
We’re writing world class software for financial institutions, and we are offering a genuine opportunity for a developer to take their career to the next level. We take best practices very seriously and you will experience how they are applied to the software development lifecycle.
You will have the opportunity to work with .Net Core, ReactJS, Cloud and Container technologies, numerous database engines all in a high performance, high availability, and highly secure environment.
Experience, skills and attributes:
- A people focused person
- A genuine passion for mentoring and line management
- Comfortable working in a distributed Agile environment
- 5+ years' experience of C# development
- Proven experience creating awesome web user interfaces, ideally responsive websites
- Experience with Web API, RESTful services
- Experience with at least one RDBMS such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of version control and configuration management tools such as Git
- Experience with unit test libraries such as NUnit
- Strong UI styling skills, ideally using Sass
- Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Information Systems or related numeric field
- Ideally knowledge of one of ReactJS, Angular JS or Knockout JS, but these can be taught
