Relationship Director – Life Sciences and Technology
An international Corporate Bank is seeking a well-networked, proactive Relationship Director to develop its Life Sciences and Technology offering focussed on the UK. The role is based in London.
This is a rare opportunity to build a business largely from scratch and take full ownership.
Responsibilities
- Identify market opportunities in the Life Sciences and Technology sectors. Establish, develop and manage client relationships and be the banks point of contact with those clients.
- Analyse client businesses, identify client goals and proactively introduce corporate and commercial banking solutions as appropriate.
- Provide guidance to clients to support financial decisions
- Develop close working relationships with other areas of the bank with a view to cross-sell and related opportunities
- Continually assess the risks associated with the client relationship and propose/implement measures to minimise potential risks.
- Continually monitor client satisfaction, revenue and other significant metrics.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Relationship professional in a Corporate Bank
- Strong network in the client and financial community across Life Sciences and Technology
- Strong knowledge of lending products
- The ability to develop, as well as manage, client relationships
- The ability and desire to proactively build a business
- Well-developed negotiation and relationship building skills, both internal and external
