Hello, I’m looking for a kind, reliable dog sitter who would be happy to spend some relaxed time with my two Shar Pei, Bossman and Marilyn. They are both gentle, well-behaved, middle-aged dogs with very sweet temperaments. Shar Pei can sometimes have an unfair reputation, but these two are calm, affectionate, and used to a quiet home environment.
Because they are very bonded to me and a little sensitive about being left alone, I’d love to find someone who could come and spend some time with them occasionally — perhaps starting with once a week or the odd visit here and there — so they can gradually get to know and trust another person in their own home. The idea is simply to build a friendly relationship with them over time.
I may be popping out for errands, laundry, or appointments, so it would really help to have someone they feel comfortable with around the house. They enjoy gentle walks, plenty of naps, and a calm atmosphere. They’re easygoing and very loving dogs once they get to know you.
I’d love to find someone patient and kind who enjoys spending time with sensitive, loyal dogs and is happy to build that rapport slowly. Thank you.
