About Ginger
Ginger is a 1‑year‑old Kennel Club pedigree red fox Lab, microchipped and fully up to date with all her immunisations. She lives with a 10‑month‑old baby and a 10‑year‑old diagnosed AuDHD boy, and is impressively patient with both – even now the baby is crawling and sometimes a bit rough, Ginger never bites, growls, barks or snaps, no matter what. Having had dogs my whole life, it’s unusual not to even get a warning rumble. She’s friendly and playful with kids and other dogs, but can be a bit much for nervous or very calm dogs when she’s excited. She just needs to be put in her place straight away and then she accepts the boundaries.
Ginger used to get two 30‑minute walks a day, but lately has mostly just been using the garden for the toilet, which isn’t fair on her.
What We Need
I’m looking for a reliable dog walker to give her proper walks and toilet breaks away from the garden – starting small (once or twice a week, 15–30 minutes in the morning or afternoon).
Requirements
With clear boundaries she listens well to commands like sit and stay, and really respects confident handlers. She will take the mick if you mollycoddle her, so don’t fall for her cuteness.
