Estrid is a nervous dog who has been attacked several times and panics if large dogs run towards her. She is walked on a long line and most of the time she is fine. She has a good recall, loves treats and praise. Very rarely, her Husky side comes out and she runs off, hence the long line. It is useful to have when spotting the signs she is going to bolt. I wouldn’t expect anyone to walk her without using the long line until they know her very well. The goal is to build her confidence in meeting people and other dogs. She is not aggressive, used to love playing with other dogs, and was generally a lively, happy girl on walks. There is a concern that she is too dependent on myself and Dreyfus, so I need someone very patient. She is very loving and a bit cheeky once you get to know her. Initially, I want both dogs walked separately for an hour each, once a week to start. Days and times are very flexible.

Dreyfus is very lively and likes to meet other dogs, but this is restricted by people not liking GSDs. He is not a big GSD. Walks will be on lead after initial excitement. He loves to sniff to the extreme and enjoys playing with a ball. He has a good recall most of the time and is not aggressive, but will run if confronted by a grumbly or aggressive dog. He loves to run and has a very gentle nature most of the time, but does like rough and tumble if he knows the other dog. He will be neutered early next year but has shown no problems. He is not really food orientated unless treats are really special!
