We have a 10 week old cocker spaniel puppy called Tilly. We’re looking for some puppy care Tuesday-Thursday. We leave for work at approx 8am and get back at 5:30-6. Ideally we’d have someone spend an hour with her in the middle of the day or the best would be two 30 minute sessions split throughout the day. She has a garden to roam in and is happy in her crate. Very friendly young girl who loves company.

How to prepare for a job interview at Tailster
✨Know Your Puppy Care Basics
Before the interview, brush up on puppy care basics, especially for a cocker spaniel. Be ready to discuss feeding schedules, potty training, and socialisation techniques. Showing that you understand Tilly's needs will impress the owners.
✨Demonstrate Your Flexibility
Since the job requires care from Tuesday to Thursday, highlight your availability during those days. If you can offer flexibility in your schedule, like being able to do two 30-minute sessions, make sure to mention it. This shows you're committed to Tilly's well-being.
✨Share Your Experience
If you've cared for puppies or dogs before, share specific examples during the interview. Talk about any challenges you faced and how you overcame them. This will help build trust with the owners, showing them you’re capable of handling their young pup.
✨Ask Questions About Tilly
Prepare some questions about Tilly’s routine, behaviour, and any specific care instructions. This not only shows your genuine interest in her but also helps you understand what the owners expect. It’s a great way to engage and demonstrate your commitment to her care.
