We are looking for an experienced, pragmatic and hands on People Partner skilled at providing strategically minded and delivery-focused partnering to our people leaders, you’ll play an active role in reinforcing our culture to help shape our people decisions, priorities, and performance.

We create truly tailored food for each and every dog we serve.
We start by asking people a few simple questions about their dog.
Then we use that information to create their dog’s unique Tails. com recipe – so their dog gets exactly the nutrition they need, in the taste they love, delivered to their door every month.

The role
You will be responsible for
- You'll get to know our business areas inside out, acting as a trusted advisor to our people leaders.
You'll provide hands‑on support and expert advice to help them manage and develop their teams effectively.
- You'll champion a great team experience, be able to support navigate change where needed and ensure our culture stays strong.
- You'll help make decisions that put people first, keeping our performance on track and our values front and centre.
- You'll lead on key People projects and key employee lifecycle stages, everything from talent and compensation reviews to process improvements, making sure everything runs smoothly.
- You'll use data and metrics to guide our decisions.
Whether it’s diving into compensation data or partnering with Finance on headcount planning, you’ll help us stay smart, compliant, and well-governed.
- What you’ll bring
- You’ve got a solid background in generalist HR/People partnering roles, gained in similar sized and set up organisations and you’re comfortable working with different teams like Commercial, Corporate, and Tech.
- You’re a great communicator who builds trust easily. You know how to have honest, productive conversations and partner effectively with people at all levels of the business.
- You’re a natural problem‑solver who enjoys coaching managers and isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo to keep our culture strong and also performance on track.
- You know your stuff when it comes to employment law and people practices including talent and reward with experience of managing key lifecycle processes like compensation reviews.
- You can handle tricky situations with a blend of common sense, empathy, and a solid grasp of formal processes if needed.
- You’re comfortable with data and use it to help make smart decisions.
- You’ll anticipate when you need to lean in to contribute to collective people team success through collaboration, professional generosity, knowledge sharing, and a willingness to support colleagues in delivering what is needed for the business and our people.
- You love finding ways to make things run smoother.
You’re tech‑savvy, (know your way around a spreadsheet when you need to) and how to use HR tools to help our team work more efficiently.

- Once you have applied your CV will be reviewed by the Talent Acquisition Team.
- If selected, you will then have a call with the TA Team who will tell you more about us and the role, as well as learning more about your skills and experience.
- Should you be successful, the next stage will be a video call with the hiring manager.
- If successful, you will be invited to present a task back to a panel of interviewers.
