As a Sports Coach / Cover Supervisor working with TailorEDucation, you will play a key role in supporting the learning and development of secondary school pupils. This exciting position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in delivering sports or physical education who are looking to take their first step into a classroom-based role. You will supervise lessons in the absence of the class teacher, manage classroom behaviour, and deliver pre-prepared learning activities across a range of subjects. Your experience in coaching and motivating young people will be invaluable in maintaining positive learning environments and engaging students in their education.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising classes during teacher absences
- Managing pupil behaviour and ensuring a positive, safe learning atmosphere
- Delivering pre-set lesson materials and activities

The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience coaching or delivering sports sessions to children and young people (any sport welcomed - e.g. football, rugby, hockey, athletics, trampolining, netball, etc.)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- The ability to motivate, inspire, and manage groups of young people
- A positive, professional attitude with a genuine passion for working with young people
- Flexibility and willingness to work across a range of subjects and age groups
