TailorEDucation are looking to meet with Qualified Level 3 Learning Support Assistants available to work on a flexible basis in EYFS settings across Medway. You will be required to support class teachers and early years practitioners to deliver engaging, play‑based learning experiences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting children with learning activities
  • Promoting positive behaviour
  • Assisting with personal care where required
  • Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive

TailorEDucation partners with a wide range of nurseries, preschools, and primary school EYFS settings across the local area. Our partner settings are supportive, child‑centred environments that value high‑quality early years provision and recognise the importance of skilled, caring support staff in giving children the best start in life.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification recognised for EYFS settings, such as:

  • Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator EYE)
  • CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education
  • CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development (CCLD)
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Learning and Development (Early Years Educator)

Further Experience and Skills:

  • Previous experience of working within EYFS settings (nursery, preschool, or school‑based EYFS)
  • A good understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and child development
  • A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young children
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A genuine passion for early years education and supporting children’s wellbeing
