About the Role and Key Responsibilities
TailorEDucation are working with a secondary school in the Gravesend area who are seeking a fully qualified English teacher for a long term supply position. Starting in January 2026, this vacancy will be until the Easter 2026 break, with the possibility of extending for the full academic year. This will be a full timetable, with planning and marking covering across Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Proven experience delivering English lessons from KS3 to KS5
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
- Excellent classroom skills
- A passion for supporting the progress and wellbeing of all learners
