TailorEDucation is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary English Teacher for a full-time supply placement starting after February half term, for a five-week period. This role will involve full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking, and assessment, and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on pupils' progress in English.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons and support students in developing their reading, writing, and analytical skills.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment with strong classroom management and adaptability.
- Plan, prepare, and assess work, including marking and feedback within the five-week placement.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching English at secondary level within a UK school
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated English lessons
- Confidence in behaviour management and maintaining high expectations
- A commitment to supporting pupil progress and wellbeing
