The predicted salary is between 1300 - 1600 £ per month.
As a Cover Supervisor working with TailorEDucation, you will play an important role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences while also bringing energy and enthusiasm to the delivery of sports and physical activities. You will be responsible for supervising classes using pre-set work, managing classroom behaviour, and supporting pupils to stay engaged in their learning. Where required, you may also lead or support structured sports and physical education activities, promoting teamwork, fitness, and positive participation. Flexibility, confidence, and strong behaviour management skills are key to success in this role.
TailorEDucation works in partnership with a range of primary and secondary schools across Kent and Medway. Our partner schools are inclusive and supportive environments that value active learning, student wellbeing, and staff who can positively engage pupils both in the classroom and through sport and physical activity. You will be working on a supply basis across a number of schools in the Medway area. The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor, teaching assistant, sports coach, or in a similar school-based role
- Experience delivering sports, PE, or physical activities to children or young people
- The ability to confidently manage a classroom and maintain positive behaviour
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A flexible, proactive, and professional approach to work
- A passion for engaging and motivating children through both learning and physical activity
- An understanding of safeguarding and child protection within an educational setting
