Specialising in personalised and high-quality tour experiences, the company is dedicated to providing exceptional service and unique experiences for its clients. Our tours are meticulously crafted to accommodate the distinct needs and preferences of each group, ensuring memorable and enriching journeys.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Driver and Tour Guide based in London. As a Driver/Guide you will be responsible for leading private guided tours, ensuring clients have an informative and enjoyable experience, handling customer enquiries and feedback, and providing historical and cultural insights. You will also be in charge of managing your own diary, letting us know your availability way in advance, and sticking to the dates you have agree to work with us.
As a driver, you will need to have a full UK driving license and be willing to invest in your own tour van, or drive and guide one of our tour vans. You'll need to register as a private hire driver with our local licensing comittee, which we will prepare you for and ensure you are successful in the process.
Qualifications
- Guided Tours and History knowledge
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
- Patient and kind mannerisms, to ensure clients feel comfortable on private tours
- Enthusiasm for engaging with diverse groups of people
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexibly and manage time effectively
- Experience in the tourism industry is a plus
- Driving License
- Willing to invest in yourself – learning new facts and paying for your new license to drive and guide
