Seeking an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Engineer / Process Cooling Engineer to join a growing service division across the food and beverage industry working across the East Mids/ Northamptonshire/ Cambs/ Peterborough area. This is a hands-on, field-based role working on large-scale refrigeration and cooling systems within manufacturing plants, distribution centres, and heavy commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, service, maintenance, and fault-finding on industrial refrigeration and process cooling systems
  • Working with ammonia, CO2, and HFC/HFO systems (experience preferred)
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults on refrigeration and chillers
  • Supporting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards
  • Liaising with clients on-site to provide technical support and advice

Requirements:

  • Experience in either industrial refrigeration or heavy commercial refrigeration or process cooling systems within food & beverage environments
  • Relevant refrigeration qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)
  • F-Gas certification
  • Experience with ammonia systems highly desirable
  • Full UK driving licence
